I am running some tests and I have noticed an error that needs to be fixed urgently to avoid issues with restaurants.
When a customer places an order for a future day—for example, as shown in order 126 placed today, April 22, with a requested delivery date of April 25—in the BUMP SCREEN section the order number “126” appears correctly, as in the example, but the timer shown in the top right displays a duration that is completely unrelated. From April 22 to April 25 there are 3 days, yet the timer shows almost half an hour (22 minutes).
Obviously, this creates confusion for restaurant operators, who think it is an order that must be prepared within 22 minutes.
This needs to be fixed urgently.
This issue occurs for both takeaway and delivery orders when a customer places an order for a later time or date.

I’m also doing some testing, it’s true I don’t understand why the timer on that section shows a random number

Ho visto anche io questo errore!

Agree, we will get this fixed.

@CloudWaitress Admin Thank you also for this correction that you will make!
The Bump Screen section cannot be viewed properly on a phone. Many restaurateurs use a phone to receive orders. Of course, you probably recommend using a tablet, but there are many restaurateurs who use a phone.
PS: Do you have an iOS/Android application for restaurateurs to receive orders? I can’t find it anywhere, and the support chat doesn’t seem to have it available.

so I wasn’t the only one who didn’t understand that timer in that section

@CloudWaitress Admin hat section is very useful, but there are actually several things that need to be fixed, including that timer

Phone users should use list view. I welcome your ideas on how to make a bump screen fit on a phone. We strongly recommend using a printer if a suitable screen is not available. CloudWaitress printing is extremely powerful, and most customers use it.
The reality is that an ios/android application isnt really needed when using PushPrinter app and printing implementation.
Many customers now use integration with PushPOS.com and an application is not really needed. Web admin allows for multi user which is much better than a single devise on GF.
We do have a ‘secret app’ you can play with. But it isnt in full distribution yet. Here is the iOS version - https://apps.apple.com/au/app/push-ordering/id6529542747

@CloudWaitress Admin Do you also kindly have the APK version for Android? Thank you!

@CloudWaitress Admin the issue with the bump screen function also occurs when the customer decides to order for the same day, for example they place an order now for the afternoon or evening. In that case too, the timer shown on the bump screen is always incorrect.

@CloudWaitress Admin I just tried your application. The design is definitely well done, simple and intuitive.
Problem number 1 (both on iOS and Android): takeaway / delivery orders do not appear in the order list! I did some test orders and they do not show up…
Also, the sound notification must be continuous until an order is accepted or rejected, otherwise there is a high risk of missing orders. On desktop we can enable continuous notifications… it should be the same on the app.
Regarding table reservations, they do appear correctly in the list, but in this case the application does not even play a sound when a table reservation comes in…
In short, the app is aesthetically well designed and very simple and intuitive. If (for now) you fix these three small things, it can already be used by restaurateurs.
I’m sure you will improve these aspects and become very well known in your industry. We are here to help you.

@CloudWaitress Admin If it can be useful to you… but you are probably already aware of it.

Please send message to support Attn:Chris and send me the email you used for the account and I will activate for you. Probably tomorrow as late here. Please keep feedback assigned to correct topic, otherwise it is more likely to be missed.

@CloudWaitress Admin Ok, I’ll send you an email at support@ , asking them to forward it to you.
