Hi CloudWaitress Team,
I wanted to share some feedback that I’ve heard during restaurant demonstrations and onboarding discussions.
One concern we have noticed right way is that the order-taking interface can feel overwhelming for first-time users. While the system offers a lot of flexibility and functionality, the number of available options may make the learning curve feel steeper than necessary for restaurants that primarily use a few core features.
A possible improvement would be to offer a “Simple Mode” for the order-taking interface that focuses on these everyday functions while hiding advanced features that are not frequently used.
Potential benefits could include:
• Faster staff training
• Easier onboarding for new customers
• Greater confidence during product demonstrations
• Reduced support requests
• Improved adoption among less tech-savvy users
Restaurants that need advanced functionality could continue using the current interface, while others could choose a streamlined experience that better matches their daily workflow.
I believe this would make the platform more approachable without sacrificing any of the powerful features that already exist.
Attached is Oracle’s (former Gloria Food) interface which in our opinion, it is easier to use, and easier read the order (larger text). For those who are familiar with Oracle’s system we believe would agree with us.
Thank you for considering the suggestion.

I find out (through looking for other suggestions) that CloudWaitress is working on an “Push Ordering” app? I downloaded and app to test looks clean and I think it is a step towards the direction we’re hoping for in terms of user-friendliness.
Google Play (Andriod): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.onlineorderingdashboard.app&hl=en_US
App Store (IOS): https://apps.apple.com/au/app/push-ordering/id6529542747
If this is something that other resellers (or restaurants) like to see as well, please vote so CloudWaitress can invest more time and resource to make this happen sooner. Also I’d be happy to provide more testing and feedback as needed to expedite. We appreciate it!

Here is the new app. Please give it a try - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pushprinter.app&pcampaignid=web_share
