Allow modification to order method#996

Need ability to modify the ordering method, i.e.: Delivery to Takeout, etc while building the order. At this time, the order must be restarted which totally clears the cart. Could there be a way for the customer to make changes to the order method without clearing the entire cart in case they decide to change from pickup to delivery for example?
